Guillermo del Toro has clarified his comments at The Game Awards earlier this calendar month, saying atomic number 2 merely motivated to "tickle the ribs of Konami."

Earlier this month at The Game Awards in L.A., Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro appeared via a pre-recorded message to announce the achiever for Incomparable Prowess Direction. While helium was there though, del Toro couldn't resist a sly comment, locution "you screw, one franchise I love the art direction in: Silent Hill. I trust we get a fresh one of those."

This, quite clearly, led to a lot of speculation that del Toro knew something the public didn't with regards to the Silent Hill franchise. However, public speaking on the Happy Sorrowful Puddingheaded podcast earlier this week, del Toro shot down any speculation that he had details along the goings on at Konami with regards to the Silent Hill series.

"No, not at all," said del Toro, when asked if he was working along whatever Silent Hill-related projects. "It's just unmatched of those things in my life that makes no sense," the conductor said, commenting on the cancellation of Incommunicative Hills by Konami. "I sort of just wanted to tickle the ribs of Konami, because I don't realise. That was so perfect, what we were exit to do was indeed enthralling."

Del Toro is obviously still hurting over the cancellation of the coaction betwixt himself, Metal Gear Semisolid pioneer Hideo Kojima, and The Walking Utterly actor Norman Reedus. It's a dishonour that the collaboration between the trio never took set up in the Silent Hill universe, merely Death Stranding, Kojima's introduction venture after splitting from Konami, reunited the trio, with del Toro lending his likeness for a character, and Norman Reedus playing protagonist Surface-to-air missile Katherine Anne Porter Bridges.

Interim, rumors surrounding the Unsounded J. J. Hill enfranchisement bear on to swirl. Earlier this year, a report claimed that threefold Unsounded Hill games were currently in production, and would personify unveiled next year in 2022. Another hearsay even claimed that Hideo Kojima is once more involved with the franchise after Still Hill' unceremonious cancellation, but up to now at least, none of these rumors have been confirmed as legitimate in any way.
