Nvidia's Maxwell Flagships: Geforce GTX 980 and Geforce GTX 970 Pictured In All Their Glory
The launch date for the upcoming Nvidia GTX 980 and GTX 970 is finally here and EVATech and Videocardz accept released the pictures of the Maxwell Flagships in all their glory. The pictures are the official press deck shots and close-ups of the Maxwell cards forth with review pictures. The card looks quite similar to the Titan aesthetics we have come to rely on. Needless to say, the leak scene won this one.
Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970 Motion picture Closeups - DirectX 12 Finally Arrives
This is 1 huge leak, although it is to be expected considering the launch is now practically on our proverbial doorstep. Something very interesting going to happen tomorrow on the 18th of September 2022 and no prizes for guessing what. The evening is a pretty important function of the 24-hour interval, and no dubiety y'all will want to stick close to an Internet capable device during the same. I absolutely loathe spoilers of my favorite books and series, only where tech is concerned, the more than the merrier. Without any further ado, the GTX 980 and 970:
These pictures depict the Geforce GTX 980 and Geforce GTX 970 in various angles. You tin observe the new and improved backplate along with the iii Display Ports which will permit a G-Sync Surroundings setup. The cards will retail for $549 and $329/$349 (different variants) respectively every bit we have already told you. This too means that the GTX 970 will be priced competitively and/or ane toll tier upwardly against the Tonga GPU (Radeon R9 285) which costs $249. Here are the complete specs of the GTX 970 and the GTX 980 and their approximate clock speeds. The GTX 960 should be joining its older siblings before long enough too.

The specs of both the GM204 Maxwell flagships have also been leaked and confirmed, and then in that location remains very petty (if at all) that Nvidia can surprise u.s.a. with. Once over again, I would remind everyone of the 1 loose stop we were sadly non able to necktie: you guessed it, the GM200 GPU. I would exist seriously interested in finding out about what Nvidia has plans for those since we already know the GM200 die is ready-to-send. Anyways, all the cards feature the full DirectX 12 specification, which means we are looking at the showtime mainstream defended GPUs to feature full DX12 support. Ofcourse, since this is a very very preliminary grade of DX12, I will expect the transition to exist slightly bumpy at the start. Oh and, looks similar the leak scene won this one, Green.
